Bigtwin Bikeshow & Expo

You do not need to arrive at the Bigtwin Bikeshow & Expo with a finished plan in your head. In fact, if you are still figuring out what to do with your bike next, Houten is exactly where you should be.

Across the halls you will find a broad mix of custom builders, painters, parts suppliers, seat makers, clothing brands, tool specialists and other people from the custom scene. Not just businesses selling products, but people who can show you what is possible.

Among them are custom builders and specialists such as Back Corner Custom Bikes, CP Customz, El Lobo Cycles, King Motorcycles, Small Town Customs, South-East Motorcycles, VG Motorcycle Specials and Wannabe-Choppers. Just a selection of the builders and companies bringing their own style and ideas to Houten.

There is plenty to discover when it comes to paint, finishing and detail work too. You will find, among others, B&B Customs, Frank ‘Inca’ Stienen, Royal Kustom Works, Self Made Custom Painting and De Poedercoatspecialist. For custom seats, names such as Miller Kustom Upholstery, Silver Machine Custom Seats and Tijger Leathers will also be there.

And then there are the parts. Zodiac International and Motorcycle Storehouse are two major names from the custom aftermarket at the show. You will also find, among others, Central Motor Parts, Corner Value Parts, DOCK66, Killer Custom and many more. From small details to parts that can completely change the direction of a build.

That is only part of it. Tools, maintenance products, detailing, clothing, leather, helmets, accessories and plenty of gear for both bike and workshop can be found throughout the show as well. Think, for example, of Snap-on Tools, Gallery13, Barbaros Detailing, Karlssons Hjälmar, Motorkleding ZOAN and a wide range of clothing and lifestyle brands.

That is exactly why the Bigtwin Bikeshow & Expo is about more than looking at finished motorcycles. It is where you pick up ideas.

A different paint scheme. A handlebar you had never considered. A seat shape that suddenly makes sense. Different wheels. A different stance. Or simply a conversation with someone who spends every day doing what you are working on at home in the garage.

Je hoeft niet met een kant-en-klaar plan naar de Bigtwin Bikeshow & Expo te komen. Sterker nog: juist als je nog niet precies weet wat je met je motor wilt doen, moet je in Houten zijn.

Verspreid over de hallen vind je dit jaar opnieuw een flinke mix van custombouwers, painters, onderdelenleveranciers, zadelmakers, kledingmerken, gereedschapsspecialisten en andere vakmensen uit de customscene. Mensen die niet alleen spullen verkopen, maar vooral laten zien wat er mogelijk is.

Zo vind je er onder andere custombouwers en specialisten als Back Corner Custom Bikes, CP Customz, El Lobo Cycles, King Motorcycles, South-East Motorcycles, VG Motorcycle Specials en Wannabe-Choppers. Een greep uit de builders en bedrijven die ieder op hun eigen manier bezig zijn met bouwen, verbouwen en verbeteren.

Ook voor paint, afwerking en details valt er genoeg te ontdekken. Je vindt er onder andere B&B Customs, Frank ‘Inca’ Stienen, Royal Kustom Works, Self Made Custom Painting en De Poedercoatspecialist. Voor custom seats kun je bijvoorbeeld terecht bij Miller Kustom Upholstery, Silver Machine Custom Seats en Tijger Leathers.

En dan de onderdelen. Met Zodiac International en Motorcycle Storehouse staan er twee grote namen uit de custom aftermarket in Houten. Daarnaast kom je onder andere Central Motor Parts, Corner Value Parts, DOCK66, Killer Custom, en nog veel meer tegen. Van kleine details tot onderdelen waarmee je een complete build een andere richting geeft.

Daar houdt het niet op. Ook voor gereedschap, onderhoud, detailing, kleding, leer, helmen, accessoires en andere spullen voor motor en garage is er volop keuze. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan Snap-on Tools, Gallery13, Barbaros Detailing, Karlssons Hjälmar, Motorkleding ZOAN en verschillende kleding- en lifestylemerken.

Dat is precies waarom de Bigtwin Bikeshow & Expo meer is dan alleen kijken naar wat er al gebouwd is. Je loopt er tegen ideeën aan.

Een andere kleurstelling. Een stuur waar je zelf nog niet aan had gedacht. Een zadelvorm die ineens wel klopt. Een andere wielset. Een andere stance. Of gewoon een gesprek met iemand die dagelijks doet waar jij thuis in de schuur mee bezig bent.

Heb je zelf een project staan, wil je komende winter iets aanpakken of ben je gewoon benieuwd wat er allemaal mogelijk is? Loop dan vooral niet te snel door. Kijk, vraag, vergelijk en neem ideeën mee naar huis.

Three major motorcycle brands, three substantial displays in Hall 1. Harley-Davidson, Indian Motorcycle and BMW Motorrad are bringing their latest models, heavyweight cruisers and standout customs to the 33rd Bigtwin Bikeshow & Expo at Expo Houten. And Indian Motorcycle even has a Dutch premiere lined up.

Harley-Davidson Benelux

As always, Harley-Davidson Benelux is going big. At no less than 156 square metres, its stand is one of the largest on the show floor. Expect the latest models, including several Touring and CVO models.

There will be plenty of custom inspiration too, with several Harley-Davidson dealers bringing some of their best custom bikes to Houten. You won’t have to look far either: the stand is located right at the entrance to Hall 1.

Indian Motorcycle Benelux

Indian Motorcycle Benelux has something special in store. Alongside the full line-up, visitors will also be able to see the new 2027 models. These will be unveiled shortly before the show at EICMA in Milan and will be on display at Expo Houten just a few days later.

And there’s more. The only new Chief Vintage Sturgis, SD Edition in the Netherlands will be unveiled during a special presentation on the Main Stage in Hall 1 at 1:00 PM. There is also a great story behind this particular bike, as it will be used to raise money for charity.

BMW Motorrad

BMW Motorrad will also be there with a strong selection of BMW R 18 models in Hall 1. Take a seat on one of these big cruisers and get a feel for what that 1800cc Big Boxer is all about.

With 163 Nm of torque, there is certainly no shortage of muscle. You may just look at BMW’s cruiser a little differently afterwards. If you didn’t already, of course.

Drie grote motormerken, drie flinke presentaties in hal 1. Harley-Davidson, Indian Motorcycle en BMW Motorrad nemen tijdens de 33e Bigtwin Bikeshow & Expo hun nieuwste modellen, dikke cruisers en opvallende customs mee naar Expo Houten. En bij Indian staat zelfs een Nederlandse primeur op het programma.

Harley-Davidson Benelux

Traditiegetrouw pakt Harley-Davidson Benelux flink uit. Met maar liefst 156 vierkante meter behoort de stand tot de grootste op de beursvloer. Hier staan de nieuwste modellen, waaronder verschillende Touring- en CVO-modellen.

Ook aan customwerk geen gebrek. Verschillende Harley-Davidson-dealers nemen hun mooiste custombikes mee naar Houten. Je hoeft er bovendien niet lang naar te zoeken: de stand staat direct bij binnenkomst in hal 1.

Indian Motorcycle Benelux

Indian Motorcycle Benelux heeft iets bijzonders in petto. Naast de complete line-up zijn namelijk ook de nieuwe 2027-modellen te bewonderen. Deze worden kort voor de show tijdens EICMA in Milaan onthuld en staan slechts enkele dagen later al in Expo Houten.

Alsof dat nog niet genoeg is, wordt op de Main Stage in hal 1 ook de enige nieuwe Chief Vintage Sturgis, SD Edition van Nederland onthuld. De presentatie vindt plaats om 13.00 uur. Aan deze bijzondere motor zit bovendien een mooi verhaal vast, want hiermee wordt geld opgehaald voor een goed doel.

BMW Motorrad

Ook BMW Motorrad is van de partij en neemt een flinke selectie BMW R 18-modellen mee naar hal 1. Neem vooral even plaats op een van deze dikke cruisers en ervaar zelf hoe zo’n 1800cc Big Boxer aanvoelt.

Met 163 Nm koppel is er in ieder geval geen gebrek aan spierballen. Misschien kijk je daarna ineens heel anders naar BMW’s cruiser. Als je dat natuurlijk al niet deed.

New to the show floor this year: Killer Custom from Lithuania. The company has been part of the custom scene since 2000 and has grown from building custom bikes into a manufacturer with an extensive range of its own parts for Harley-Davidson and Indian motorcycles.

Today, the range includes more than 500 different products, from body parts and electrical components to all kinds of custom parts that can completely change the look of a Harley or Indian. The parts are developed and manufactured in Europe, with a strong focus on fit, finish and a distinctive design of their own.

A recent addition to the range is Killer Custom’s own line of handlebars for Harley-Davidson and Indian models. At the Bikeshow, they’ll be bringing along a new handlebar designed for the Harley-Davidson FLHX Street Glide. It has a bold shape, a clear Killer Custom signature and is definitely aimed at riders who don’t want to keep things standard.

It’s not just about looks either. Killer Custom’s body parts and handlebars are certified by TÜV Austria and the German KBA.

Hall 2 – stand H2-039

Nieuw op de beursvloer dit jaar: Killer Custom uit Litouwen. Het bedrijf draait al sinds 2000 mee in de customscene en groeide in die tijd van bouewr van custombikes uit tot fabrikant van een flinke reeks eigen onderdelen voor Harley-Davidson en Indian Motorcycle.

Inmiddels telt het assortiment meer dan 500 verschillende producten. Van bodyparts en elektrische componenten tot allerlei andere custom onderdelen waarmee je een Harley of Indian een heel andere uitstraling kunt geven. De onderdelen worden in Europa ontwikkeld en geproduceerd, met veel aandacht voor pasvorm, afwerking en een eigen smoel.

Nieuw binenn het assortiment is een lijn eigen sturen voor Harley-Davidson en Indian Motorcycle. Tijdens de Bikeshow neemt Killer Custom onder andere een nieuw stuur mee voor de Harley-Davidson FLHX Street Glide. Een uitgesproken ontwerp, duidelijk herkenbaar als Killer Custom en gemaakt voor rijders die liever niet voor standaard kiezen.

Ook technisch zit het goed. De bodyparts en sturen zijn gecertificeerd door TÜV Austria en de Duitse KBA.

Wil je het stuur en de rest van het assortiment eens van dichtbij bekijken? Dan moet je dit jaar voor het eerst bij Killer Custom op de stand zijn.

Hal 2 – stand H2-039

The Chopper Zone is one of those places where you naturally slow down. It’s all about chopper culture here: from old-school choppers and individual builds to the clubs, builders and enthusiasts behind them.

You’ll find choppers in all shapes and styles. Low and long, stripped-back, polished or raw. Traditional builds stand alongside bikes where the builder has gone completely their own way. Take your time, look at the details and talk to the people who built them.

This year, the Chopper Zone once again brings together a great mix of familiar and new names. Back Corner Custom Bikes, Small Town Customs and Miller Seats will be there, along with Chopper Club Nederland. You’ll also find Attitude Custom Cycles, DOCK66, El Lobo Cycles, King Motorcycles, VG Motorcycle Specials, Just Bike Travel Jávea and Beer with his Two Percenter Roadbook.

Together, they bring everything that makes the Chopper Zone what it is: bikes, builders, clubs, parts, custom work and, above all, a shared passion for choppers. Have a look around, talk shop, swap ideas or ask all the questions you want about parts, techniques and builds.

And then there’s the Chopper Zone Café. Grab a drink, take a seat and catch up with some familiar faces, or meet a few new ones. 

The Chopper Zone isn’t just a collection of stands. It’s a world of its own within the Bigtwin Bikeshow & Expo. And here, choppers rule. 

De Chopper Zone is zo’n plek waar je vanzelf wat langzamer gaat lopen. Hier draait alles om de choppercultuur: van old-school choppers en eigenzinnige builds tot de clubs, bouwers en liefhebbers die erachter zitten.

Verwacht choppers in alle soorten en stijlen. Laag en lang, kaal, glimmend of juist rauw. Van traditionele builds tot motoren waarbij de bouwer volledig zijn eigen plan heeft getrokken. Genoeg om te bekijken, maar minstens zo interessant zijn de verhalen en ideeën achter de motoren.

Ook dit jaar staat er weer een mooie groep namen in de Chopper Zone. Back Corner Custom Bikes, Small Town Customs en Miller Seats zijn van de partij, net als Chopper Club Nederland. Verder vind je er onder meer Attitude Custom Cycles, DOCK66, El Lobo Cycles, King Motorcycles, VG Motorcycle Specials, Just Bike Travel Jávea en Beer met zijn Two Percenter Roadbook.

Samen zorgen ze voor precies die mix waar de Chopper Zone om draait: builders, clubs, onderdelen, customwerk en voorval veel liefde voor choppers. Geen afstandelijk gedoe, maar gewoon kijken, praten, ideeën uitwisselen en elkaar de oren van het hoofd vragen over techniek, onderdelen en bouwplannen.

En dan is er natuurlijk nog het Chopper Zone Café. Even zitten, wat drinken, mensen tegenkomen en vervolgens toch weer teruglopen omdat je onderweg alweer iets nieuws hebt gezien.

De Chopper Zone is geen losse verzameling stands. Het is een eigen wereld binnen de Bigtwin Bikeshow & Expo. Eentje waar choppers de dienst uitmaken.
